The German doctor may Bernhard Moeller with his family and his disabled son, but now remain in Australia. Immigration Minister Chris Evans had on Wednesday the determination to repeal its authority and the Möllers promised a permanent abode. After the 2005 North Rhine-Westphalia Ausgewanderte family a request for an indefinite residence permit had, in late October, she got a surprising rebuff. Reason: Möllers youngest son Luke suffers from the Down syndrome. Possible costs for the maintenance of the 13-year-olds, the taxpayer could not reasonably be expected, said the officials. An appeal was rejected in Australia as a wave of solidarity triggered. Minister Evans said he was glad that the family had decided to Australia to make their home. Bernhard Moeller was overjoyed about the promise: "We are gehupft joy."
